Free Underdog Fantasy Optimizer

Rank an Underdog Fantasy pick’em board you already built. Compare a Standard entry with Insured or Flex, treat rivals as their own kind of leg, and see which pick is weakest. Open the pick’em payout calculator before you size the entry. No daily Underdog card is published here.

Underdog higher/lower picks are one player against a posted stat. Rivals picks are two players on the same stat, sometimes with an adjustment on the entry. Standard pays only if every pick hits. Flex, also shown as Insured on older screens, needs at least three picks and can still pay a reduced amount if one pick misses.

Standard entries versus Insured and Flex

A Standard Underdog pick’em starts at two picks and pays only when every pick hits. Flex (Insured) starts at three picks, pays less when the card is perfect, and still pays a reduced amount if one pick misses. Entries of six to eight picks can allow a second miss on Flex. A two-pick slip is Standard whether you wanted protection or not, because Flex is not offered that small.

Fantasy Forge’s illustrative research table (version 2026-08-08) lists all-correct Underdog-style multipliers of 3×, 6×, 10×, 20×, and 40× for 2 through 6 picks. Underdog’s live Standard and Flex multipliers sit on the entry screen and can differ, including per-pick multipliers and correlation changes. Use the pick’em payout calculator for the research table, then match the live number in the app.

Rivals versus higher or lower

A higher or lower pick is one athlete against one line. A rivals pick asks who finishes ahead on a stat. The adjustment shown on the rivals entry can erase a small projection gap, so the leg is a comparison of two distributions, not a single cushion against one number.

Read the adjustment before you keep the side. If your rebound gap is smaller than the rivals adjustment, that matchup is the weak pick even when the raw projections favor your side. Underdog’s help pages describe Flex as a lower perfect-card payout with a salvage if one pick misses. Confirm the current rule on the entry, because caps move.

A three-pick Underdog example

Teaching numbers only. Player E versus Player F in rebounds, rivals adjustment +1.5 applied to F. Your projections are E 8.0 and F 7.2, so E leads by 0.8 before the adjustment and trails after it. That rivals leg is the one to rebuild. Player G, points higher than 18.5, projection 21.0. Player H, assists higher than 6.5, projection 7.1.

A Standard three-pick on the illustrative table is 6× and every pick must hit, so the rivals mismatch decides the card. Flex would lower the perfect-card payout and keep a reduced return if one pick misses. Neither choice fixes an adjustment you already lose. 21+ where required. Gambling problem? Call 1-800-GAMBLER.

What the free Underdog run includes

The public Underdog run accepts a short paste: eight props, ideas of two or three picks, three ideas at most, and no history stored on the page. Sign in for 3 free tries. No card needed. Saved boards and bigger slips can continue on a 7-day trial after that, and you are not billed on day 8 if you cancel first.

Fantasy Forge does not submit Underdog entries and is not a rival of the app. It sorts the pick’em you pasted. Sports results still vary. Verify every multiplier in Underdog. Graded results are the settlement record for props users chose to track, not a card from this page.
